GB Crest
All over the world, Girls' Brigade members wear the same badge which we often refer to as the GB Crest.
The badge has 4 main elements, each with a special meaning to those who wear it.

Girls' Brigade is a uniformed organisation. We choose to wear uniform because:
Each year our members aim to their earn badges through badgework which is carried out under 4 sections namely, spiritual, physical, educational and service.
Each year we follow the GBNI Scripture Course and this year’s topic is on "God’s promises” where we hope that the girls realise that the promises that God made to the people years ago in the Bible are still as important to us today in our everyday lives.
- It encourages a sense of belonging
- It promotes equality
- It sets us apart as members of a Christian organisation

We take part in all our District competitions and have been very successful. Competitions this year include Football, Art and team games.
We do fund raising events in our company and also have a very successful night, before Christmas, for the members of Mountjoy Presbyterian Church. Recently our officers wrapped shoe boxes for the
Operation Christmas Child Appeal which were made available to members of the church.
